Grab your Diamondbacks’ Postseason Tickets Starting September 20
Tickets go on sale for the general public.
Major League Baseball announced the Postseason schedule, the Arizona Diamondbacks released information regarding postseason tickets sales. Season ticket holders had the privilege of purchasing tickets based on their tenure and loyalty points.
Single-game, full and partial plan postseason tickets will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. MST, Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Tickets can be purchased online at dbacks.com/postseason or by phone at 602-514-8400.
The sales of the postseason tickets come as the Diamondbacks are fighting for a Wild Card spot. Arizona is currently 2.5 games behind the San Diego Padres.
D-backs finish the season with series against the rival Dodgers and Padres
The Diamondbacks have 20 games remaining in the regular season. The team finishes the season with a seven-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres, their two National League West rivals.
The homestand begins with a three-game series against the Dodgers from September 26-28. After an off day on September 29, the Diamondbacks will host the Padres for a four-game series from September 30 to October 2. They will then finish the regular season with a three-game series against the Dodgers from October 3-5.
The Diamondbacks will need to finish the season strong and hope that the Padres falter if they want to earn a Wild Card spot. Arizona is currently 74-68, while the Padres are 76-65.
Postseason schedule
The Major League Baseball postseason begins on October 7 with the American League Wild Card Series. The National League Wild Card Series begins on October 8.
The American League Division Series begins on October 11, and the National League Division Series begins on October 12.
The American League Championship Series begins on October 18, and the National League Championship Series begins on October 19.
The World Series begins on October 28.
League Division Series
The No. 1 seed in each league will face the No. 4 seed, and the No. 2 seed will face the No. 3 seed in the League Division Series.
The teams will play a best-of-five series, with the first two games being played at the home of the higher seed, and the next three games being played at the home of the lower seed.
League Championship Series
The winners of the Division Series will face each other in the League Championship Series.
The teams will play a best-of-seven series, with the first two games being played at the home of the higher seed, the next three games being played at the home of the lower seed, and the final two games being played at the home of the higher seed.
World Series
The winners of the League Championship Series will face each other in the World Series.
The teams will play a best-of-seven series, with the first two games being played at the home of the American League team, the next three games being played at the home of the National League team, and the final two games being played at the home of the American League team.
