Dyaisha Fair's WNBA dream came true Monday night. The former Syracuse women's basketball and Edison Tech Inventors star was selected 16th overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces.
Fair is the 16th overall pick in the 2024 draft. She played college basketball at Syracuse, where she is currently third place all time in NCAA Division I women's basketball history with 1,913 steals.
Fair was a four-time All-American at Syracuse and was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024. She also led the Orange to the NCAA Tournament in 2023 and 2024.
The Las Vegas Aces are a professional basketball team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Aces compete in the Western Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Fair is expected to make an immediate impact for the Aces. She is a skilled defender and can score in bunches. She is also a great teammate and is always willing to help her team win.
