Tornado Destroys Scissortail Silos in Cole
Extensive Damage Reported After Wednesday Night Storm

A powerful tornado tore through the town of Cole, Oklahoma, on Wednesday night, leaving widespread destruction in its wake. One of the most heavily damaged structures was Scissortail Silos, a popular event venue and tourist attraction. The tornado caused the walls of the silos to collapse and the ceilings to cave inward, rendering the building unusable.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that the tornado was an EF-2 twister with winds of up to 120 miles per hour.
